Christmas is coming...
Cycle 2, Day 30, 8 DPO
Temp: 98.4
Cervical Mucus: Sticky
Cervix: Low, closed, firm
Since my temps have now gone back
up to a point higher than they had been before, I'm going to look at yesterday's
temp as an aberration. I think I'm going to go out and get some Wild Yam Root
anyway, though; it's good for helping the body make progesterone. I think I'd
like to have some on hand; low progesterone can cause miscarriage, and a tea
made from Wild Yam is a good remedy for that.
Last night, Eric and I were out at dinner with some visiting coworkers of his
from Wisconsin. Halfway through dinner, Eric asked one of the guys if kids
were with it. The guy responded, "I give it two thumbs up." Eric says he's
asking everybody he knows that question, sort of solidifying the whole idea in
his mind. He's committed to it, sure, but he wants to be reassured that he's
not going to regret it...
As if anybody is going to say, "Noooooo! Worst mistake of my life!" and be
the kind of person from whom Eric would take advice in the first place...
Somebody kick my butt and make me Christmas shop. I am
completely unmotivated to even begin; the only gift I've bought thus far was
for a Secret Santa exchange with some online buddies, and that was only because
I had to ship it out early. And it's not even like I've got famil gifts pre-selected!
I have no idea whot to get for my brother. Anybody got any
suggestions for a
not-quite-21 year old college student? I got him a black light last year, I
think.
For Eric's parents, we getting a CD player. They currently have no method
of playing CD's, and Ronnie has recently
begun nurturing an interest in bluegrass music. Rita doesn't listen to much besides
Lionel Richie, but they'll enjoy the capability to listen to more.
Anyway, we need to get moving on this, because we're getting busier and
busier. Eric has a second job interview coming up for the new position; the funny
thing is, it's with a guy who's not only a friend of his, but also the person who
recommended that Eric apply for the position in the first place! Yes, this will
be a fruitful interview... Eric's looking forward to seeing the company headquarters,
anyway.
Hey, if we got pregnant this month, should we tell our parents
over Christmas, or is that too soon? Many people say to wait until you're out
of the first trimester, but I'm not sure if I can be that patient. Plus, the holidays
would be a great time to surprise them. What do you think?
