This is the kitchen. No kitchen table, but that's okay.
This is the view of the kitchen when you walk in from the living room. Portable pantry and fridge to the left, chest freezer and microwave to the right. It's not a large kitchen by any stretch of the imagination.
This is the front of the fridge. Mommy uses clothespins with magnets to put important things on there. The calendar was a Christmas present from Grandma. On the right side of that is an inventory of the freezer.
The chest freezer is why we don't have a kitchen table. There was only room for one or the other, and Mommy put her foot down and refused to give up the freezer. Above the freezer is a shelf with baking ingredients.
The door next the freezer is just a storage closet under the stairs. It holds bikes, coats, and anything we don't have room to display or use.
On the wall facing the freezer are shelves holding pots and pans and appliances. I'm allowed to play with the things on the lower shelves, if I can get to them. The top shelf has Mommy's herbs and teas; the wooden shelf over that has her teapots.
To the right of that, and in front of the pantry, is the exit to the back hallway.
The back hallway hold the washer and dryer. (You can almost see them from the kitchen.) The back door is next to the dryer, and that's what we use most of the time.
Turn around and you'll see the little bathroom that faces the back door. Not much to that.
Are we done? Let's go upstairs!
