Let's start in the living room.

When you come in the front door, the first thing you see in a set of stairs going up in front of you. To the left of that, though, is the living room.

The computers are on the wall facing the front door. The Macintosh, which has my keyboard-banging game on it, is the one on the right. The PC on the left doesn't get used very much. Scanner in the middle, a shelf above with all the stuff that Mommy and Daddy won't let me touch.

The couch is on the wall next to the computers. Next to that is a bookshelf full of computer and cooking books. The coffee table used to be in front of the couch, but now it's in front of the window so that I have more room to practice crawling. My toys are in a big basket on the table for now, but when my Christmas wagon gets here in the mail, they'll go in that in my room upstairs.

The round thing on the wall is a wooden Noble Celts board that Grandma made for Daddy. He can't get anyone to play it with him, though. Maybe when I'm older, I can play with him.

That's Mommy's rocking chair, and an afghan that one of my great-aunts made for me. On the table next to the front door is a lamp full of funny-looking dice (Daddy says they're for role-playing) and a rock fountain.

Keep turning around, and you come to the entertainment center. Nothing really interesting about that, except for the fact that the end tables are full of games. It makes Mommy sad to look at them, because most of them have never been played. Is there anybody living nearby that wants to come play games with her?

Those are the stairs, too. We'll go up them in a minute. First, let's go into the kitchen.
