South Beach Chili = Not a hit

Eh, it’s okay. My usual chili recipe, as you can see, is verböten due to the brown sugar and ketchup, so I opted for a recipe out of the Quick and Easy Cookbook, which has so far been nothing but hits. And maybe this one, too, would have been embraced…but my boys are used to the sweet chili, and, honestly, so am I. :roll:

I debated putting in some artificial sweetener, but I decided to embrace the recipe for what it is rather than try (probably unsuccessfully) to make it something it isn’t. That’s usually good advice, when I manage to follow it. ;) Eric will cast the deciding vote when he gets home, though; if he doesn’t like it, we won’t be making it again.
