Woo!

They clocked me at 19:43 (for 2 miles)! That’s a smidge faster than I think is accurate; the Garmin says I finished in just over twenty minutes. Still, not bad! I actually came in fourth in my age group, but they only had medals for the top three. It wasn’t even all that slippery, but I will need to get some sort of covering for my mouth and nose (like so). Inaccessible runny nose is far and away trumped by an inability to exhale.

Now, to gingerbread house making, and turkey carving, and family chattering, and football mostly-ignoring. Oh, and God thanking. Pretty full day, and wonderfully so. Happy Thanksgiving to all who are celebrating today!
