Close my eyes and hit “post”

Okay, okay. You want to see my bikini?
I got the parts “mixed and matched” at Penney’s. I went in and first began looking at some of the less scary bikinis, with shorts and skirts for bottoms or with tops that covered the stomach. Then, suddenly, I felt like, “No, I have worked too darn hard to wear a bathing suit that cries out, ‘I have insecurities about my body!’ I’m going to at least try a real one.” And I did, and I didn’t fall over dead, and the mirror didn’t shatter. 
And then I put a picture on the internet, which, one has to admit, requires a completely different level of confidence, and I am really, really not sure I want to hit “post” right now, but…here goes…

Well, I did South Beach for a while, too, but at this point, I’m just watching portion size, mostly.
I do strength training on my “off” days from running.

OK so I’ve been telling Matt about your progress….yesterday, I showed him this picture. He was in shock and said, “is that the girl from Ohio???” I said, “yeah, it’s Carrie” “wow” was all he could say. And then he asked me how Eric was doing. And I’ve been wondering the same thing. With all this new healthy business going on in your home, he must be losing too.
