Thunderstorms this afternoon. I love a good storm, and it annoys me when the weather sites and channels freak the holy heck out over them. Instead of just “Storms” for current conditions, weather.com is saying “Storms in the vicinity,” as though the thunder is lurking around corners and waiting to steal women’s purses. 
And it’s supposed to snow on Monday. I flipped out over hearing that. Give me weeks of thunderstorms, but if I have to see one more flake of snow before November, I’m going to lose my mind. I mean, it just started getting good! 
I’m doing this race as my first 50K/ultra in July 2012. I’m so tardy to the party but...
ohh yes Thunderstoms yeah, but snow in late April…boo. I’ll send you some of our 80 degrees but dang it it’s windy California weather.
