When I’m sick, I feel better while exercising. I don’t know whether it’s the adrenaline pumping, or the distraction, or that my brain can then easily interpret elevated body temperature as normal instead of as a fever. Whatever it is, I feel good now. I’ll crash again in an hour, perhaps, but for now, all’s well.
I rather wish I could have just stayed there all day, moving about the gym and keeping my heart pumping, but the child care rules tend to frown on that.
Still feel like taking a nap, but I think that’s the weather. It’s all cloudy and wet and gray outside, though warm enough that I’m in shorts. I slept through last night’s storms, apparently, if we did get any. Going to be nice tomorrow, though, and Eric has promised to grill both lunch and dinner for us! Chicken tikka, probably, and I should figure out what else we have that can be grilled. Anybody want to come over?
I have the same experience. If I drag myself to karate when feeling crappy, I always feel better after warming up, and it usually stays with me.
