Somehow, I need to stop giving the impression that I’m capable of repairing things. I mean, really; the assumption that I’m capable can get me into more trouble than doing me good.
I doubt that the particular person making demands of me in this situation, though, would care even if I were glassy-eyed and tripping over my own feet.
Sigh.
“Sure, Sam, Mom can give fixing your bike wheel a shot. Just let me grab my wrench…”
