- Had to run in the pitch dark this morning, slipping over the many ice patches and the crusty snow in the freezing wind.
- Gabe has already thrown a huge tantrum about having to go to school, even though today is their Thanksgiving feast party, with pie and everything.
- Eric may not be able to join me, then, for the subsequent…
- …Parent-teacher conference for Sam. Not looking forward to this.
- Go pick up Gabe, throw down a quick lunch, then…
- Grab Eric from work to take him to his doctor appointment, to which he’s not looking forward.
- Dinner. Double yuck. What am I supposed to make?!
- Eric’s out late with friends, playing Scrabble, and I’m jealous.
- I get to wrangle bedtimes and violin practice by myself as a result.
Laundry. Yuck.
I don’t know about you, but Tuesday is the new Monday for me.
Don’t you guys have 2 cars now?
1. Pull out your YakTrax and your balaclava.
2. Gabe’s tantrum could have been because his shirt was the wrong shade of green. Deep breath.
3. Conference won’t be bad.
4. Dinner: something in the crock pot so you don’t have to think about it.
5. Laundry: get one load done and then move on to the next. Don’t worry about folding it.
Breathe, Carrie. Cup of coffee, easy does it, Superwoman.
have you tried those yaktrax for running in the winter? they look kind of intimidating to me…
Problem with the YakTrax is that you can’t run on dry pavement with them. They’re great for snow, so long as that’s all you’ll be running on…
Conference wasn’t bad.
Sam, AKA Mr. Worries, led me to think it was going to be far worse.
Yes with my hubby having Sunday’s and Monday’s off Tuesdays are my Monday’s too. I am sitting here waiting for a newly repaired Xbox to be returned thankyou Mr. Ups man so we’re stuck and I”ll like to make a run to Target in the next 2 days so I am not dealing with Target on Black Friday. I feel ya.
Yeah, my Tuesday BIT, too. I had to get my daughter from college for Thanksgiving break (6 hour round trip) as her ride fell through at the last minute and my youngest woke up with a fever and sore throat so I had to scramble to figure out what to do with her. Plus, no run today and my husband is stuck in traffic and I’m starving and we had a dinner date. WAHH.
I feel ya, too, sistah.
