Green Bay, day 3

The run today was such fun, exploring the Fox River Trail! It was marked, thankfully, so not having my Garmin wasn’t an issue; I went seven miles, according to the painted pavement, but I was so distracted during the run that it felt like nothing. The path followed the Fox River (duh), along behind some very fancy houses that were only separated from their boat docks and river views by said trail. Ah, the lives of the well-to-do. They even apparently get a front-row seat for the Green Bay Marathon, since some other regular trail markings led me to believe that the race is run in part along that path.

I took some pictures, which I’ll post when I’m home, along with the rest of the trip photos.

Anyway, we did the zoo this morning, which went well, and then Lambeau Field after lunch. None of us are football people, as I said, but it was the nearest opportunity for ice cream that we could find. ;) There was also an arcade, where we all had some chance to blow off some energy before heading back to the hotel and the water park again. We did dinner at Marty’s Boston Crab, and now the kids are totally zonked.

Another run on another trail tomorrow, and then possibly some indoor shopping: rain may be on its way, sadly. But we’ll make the best of it!
