Gah. I feel like I’m waiting, waiting, waiting, jumping out of my seat. In the immediate future, I’m waiting for Sam to finish his homework so I can go over the boys’ Bible study with them. He’s got a thick packet of poetry-related questions that should have been two nights’ worth of work, but he had so much homework last night that he didn’t get around to any of it then. All for tonight, then. C’mon, kid; analyze those verses…
Further off, I’m waiting to finish the Christmas shopping (a little more when Gabe’s in school tomorrow, I hope), waiting for the actual holiday, waiting for our trip. I’m waiting for another race, waiting for another training cycle. Waiting for spring – oh, yes, definitely that. I could wish I was a more patient person, but, yes, I am the person who eats cookies right off the tray, right out of the oven, with them falling apart all over the place and getting my fingers covered in melty goo.
And too much impatience…leads to silliness.

It’s been a long day.
My impatience always gets me in trouble somehow! You’re not alone!
