In April I will do GW Parkway Classic 10 miler (I do this every year) and I am toying with the idea of a marathon. I swore them off a long time ago.

My last marathon was 10+ years ago (I ran 6 in my late 20s) and now that I’m bumped up 2 age groups, I’m wondering if I can’t qualify for Boston. I guess if I’m going to train, it’s going to be for a real purpose because I do not enjoy the training or the race. I came very close to qualifying my 4th marathon so I *think* it’s within reach–I haven’t slowed down nor sped up. At least I now know not to try and BQ at a huge event with a crazy hilly course!
