Too many balls in the air!

I feel like I’m juggling frantically and SOMETHING’S going to drop! It’s mostly good stuff, and some stuff that has the potential to be freaking phenomenal, honestly, but – augh! I need to sprout another arm or two to handle it all.

Apropos of nothing, my dad gave us some rewards points he had accumulated, and in the epitome of “you are such a grown-up, and a very boring one at that,” I got silverware. Well, my spoons kept disappearing, and I replaced them with cheap ones, and they make me frown. These are heavy and shiny. They arrived today and I lurve them. Shaddup.

It’s the little things, you know, that keep you grounded when you’re going out-of-your-mind insane.

One more day until the kids’ Spring Break! Taking a lil’ trip westward, to which I alluded in my last post. Just a few days over the break, though; nothing major. One of those arm-sprouting things, though; gotta wash clothes, pack, get a hotel, pray loudly and fervently that the potential for any rain disappears and gives us pleasant weather the whole time we’re there…But getting away from the house is good right now, as it’ll keep my mind occupied and off the other things I’m trying to juggle, some of which could require more than a single extra appendage to handle. (I hope. Well, not literally; I don’t specifically wish to turn mutant. It’s just that I hope for fruition, even if it feels like superpowers could be necessary. Maybe I’ll just look into my very own Doc Ock suit; would that work better?)

I am the same way about new things for the house. I was in lala land when I got my new vacuum but it cleaned the carpet so well and the whole house seemed new. Boring me.
Anyhow, have a nice time on your trip. Enjoy and I hope the rain stays away! ;-)

Wow! Sounds lika lot is going on. I am excited to hear how your trip goes next week. And, yes, the silverware is a little boring, but at least you get to use it everyday!
