Mom and Dad
It's been a good visit so far, and I hate to think that they have to be out of here by one. Twenty-four hours is such a short time to spend together, in light of the upcoming move. I need to start planning our next visit, though it's hard when I work on the weekend, and that's when they're off from work.
For my early birthday gift, Mom took me shopping. I don't think I'm the only mommy out there who has trouble spending money on herself, and my wardrobe was really showing it - worn out, falling apart. Mom supplemented my clothing very generously (and with many more tops and pants than this). Hurray! I no longer feel like a hobo! She had to fight me on a couple of things, even so; I just couldn't fathom paying more than twenty dollars on an item of everyday clothing. Alysia has infected me with the desire for frugality, if not the skills to put it into real action.
Now Sam is running around crazily, enjoying Grandma and Papou as they dress and get ready for the day. If they have to leave early, I'm glad their departure will fall around his usual naptime, as he's going to be one miserable little boy.

Tsk. I had heard so many people say that redheads can't wear red. You just blew that right out of the water because it looks fantastic on you!
Hey, does your mom want to take me shopping too? :)
