New entry

There's a new entry up in the journal.

Sam did the most adorable thing this morning (and I, his completely unbiased mother, can say that with impunity). Donning his pumpkin hat, he began to sing a song I didn't recognize, going something like, "Pumpkin, pumkin. Uh-na-way. Uh-na-way." I studied him for a moment, and then I noticed that he was wiggling his forefinger as he sang. Of course! "Where is Thumbkin" does sound an awful lot like "Where is Pumpkin" when you think about it. Probably makes more sense on his end, too.

I've embraced my small caffeine habit. It's actually good for asthma (which I have), good for ADD (which I have), and it keeps me from crashing and burning in the afternoon.

All things in moderation, after all.

How funny! I'm in the process of applying to grad schools, and at the top of my list are...you guessed it...Wisconsin @ Madison and Northwestern! :c)

Great entry--and I'm a big proponent of caffeine...so I think you're making a smart choice. Moderation is excellent.

Hey Carrie- I don't think a little bit of caffeine is going to hurt you. Like you said, just keep an eye on your sleeping patterns. And of course, if you were trying to get pregnant again, you'd have to give it up. :( Good luck to you on everything else; you have a lot of good things to look forward to.
