Friday Five:

1. What was your biggest accomplishment this year?
Um...

2. What was your biggest disappointment?
That my marriage was so shaken by Sam's arrival. I don't know why I supposed that we would be immune.

3. Will you be making any New Year's resolutions?
Email! I'm making a solemn vow to answer each email as I get it, not relegating it to an "Answer me!" folder or letting it moulder in my inbox.

4. Where do you wish you were celebrating?
I'm happy to be celebrating it with my family, but I do wish that we actually did something for the event.

5. What do you plan to do for New Year's Eve?
Watching TV, gabbing, probably drinking eggnog (if I initiate that).

I loved reading your birth story and have shared it with a couple of friends that too had a midwife. Each time I read it I still get tears in my eyes even though I know the ending! :-)

I loved going back and reading your birth story. The photos are so beautiful, you look so powerful and great! Yay for mommies!
