Well, chocolate chips might have been better, but they're pretty yummy anyway. I'm just glad I accidentally tasted the chocolate beforehand.

Moral of the story: taste everything. Heh. What a trial.

My husband made a batch -- with chocolate chips -- thanks to your recipe. He said "Thank you for the inspiration, yum!" My kids thank you as well. :-)

Hmm. I read your recipe and I got to thinking about chocolate. It's a cold, gray, drizzly day here in Georgia, and a cup of homemade hot chocolate would taste really good right now.
