01/24/2002 Entry: "Bunny-hop"

Sam doesn't crawl yet; he bunny-hops.

He gets on hands and knees, the pushes up to his feet and jumps them forward. Then he sprawls on his stomach before popping back up to repeat the procedure.

Whatever works, I guess!

My mom says my brother did this too!! If you have a video camera, be sure to get it on tape! It'll be fun to see in a few months!

Apparently, I never crawled - I went straight to walking on my knees. I was definitely a weird kid, but as you said, whatever works!

I'd say he gains a couple of inches with each jump. Good enough to get to toys that are just out of reach, anyway. :-)
