04/28/2002 Entry: "Weekend"

Finished a little knitting project yesterday, but I can't say what it was until the recipient receives it. I will say that I was so, so proud of myself! It turned out be-yoo-tifully. As soon as I finish the little pink preemie cap, I'm going to get started on Christmas presents. I need to get some nice yarn in sufficient quantities first, though. I think I'll start with the sister-in-law's present; it's going to be a (gulp!) sweater. My first!

Sam has begun a new game this weekend. It involves grabbing the nearest object, hurling it into the air, and yelling at the top of his lungs. Repeat ad nauseum. This was cute when it was a small ball of yarn, and decidedly less so when it was my knitting needles. (Well, the yelling was still cute. "Bah! Ah-bah! Bah-buh-bah!")
