04/30/2002 Entry: "Babies"

First Jennifer linked to it, then Jenne, and now me. This birth story made me woozy with baby envy, and reminded me so much of Sam's birth. I'm not eager to have another baby anytime soon, but when I look at that little newborn...and then when I look at my feet and see Sam, wearing my preemie cap and busily filling and unfilling an Evil Dead lunchbox with newspaper scraps...

Where did my newborn go?

While I'm on the subject of birth, congratulations are in order for Steph, David, and new baby Lauren! What a sweetie!
