I just can't get over how grown-up he looks. He's romping about the living room with a toy tow truck, laughing and pushing it into every corner. He looks like a true toddler, especially since, while he's playing with the truck, it's not obvious that he's not yet walking.
All at once, he looks bigger and smaller; the haircut makes him look so much older that he looks small for his age. Adding to his age is the fact that he popped through a third tooth yesterday (never thought he'd make it to his first birthday with justn the two teeth, but he did) and a fourth today. Soon, the world of apples and other crunchy foods will be opened to him!
Hey, if I wanted to freeze some bananas for him, should I peel them first? Just curious. I'm also making some orange juice popsicles that I think he'll love.

When I froze them peeled it was a big gross mess trying to get the peel off. So yeah, I'd peel them first! :)

Oh peeled to be sure. I should have done it Amy's way. I froze mine unpeeled and had to thaw them to unpeel them. Doh. lol

We freeze bananas all the time for use in smoothies and we always peel them for the best results. The peeled banana doesn't brown when frozen. Trust me, I have nearly a full shelf of frozen bananas in my freezer!
As for Sam looking older because of his haircut, which is adorable by the way, it never stops. Everytime Aidan gets a haircut, even at 9 years old, he looks *so* much older. Mind blowing!

the bananas will only brown when they thaw. Then they'll be really mushy. :)

When I froze some for Caleb I cut them in half first but left the peel on. Then when I gave them to him frozen I cut the peel off, it was easy, I figured that way it wouldnt brown. Caleb loves eating them frozen! Hope Sam likes them too!
