07/01/2002 Entry: "Heat rash"
Freaking heat rash. My poor baby has it all over his back and chest. I had hoped that he'd be better able to handle the heat this year than he was last year, but he's all red, bumpy, and uncomfortable again.

Oh, I live where it's mild... but I remember the heat. UCKY!
poor baby.. My little girl had problems when we lived where it got hot in the summer- she was a very fat (perfect!) baby and in her fat creases she would get horrible gooey skin problems. so sad.
You might want to look into Nature's Sunshine products-
Pau D Arco lotion... might help him heal up.

I had to use products I'm assuming are similar to the one Karin is referring to for Jade.
Poor babies. I also used to keep a damp (clean) nappy on a clothes drier with a fan behind it, to try to keep the air cooler. (That's an old Aussie bushmans trick, apparently, and is the premise behind a "Coolgardie Safe".

The heat and humidity here in Montreal are ridiculous - with the humidity they say it feels like 45 degrees C which is about 118 F - UGH!
Thing is, as uncomfortable as I am being 7 months pregnant right now, I am glad the baby is due in September so that she doesn't have to go through this hell right now.

Howdie your might want to try and find a product called aquaphor. It clears up rashes very vast. Its a great product but not always easy to find. it usually has a blue lable.

awwww, poor Sam :(
I think right about now we're all wishing we could spend the rest of the summer sitting in a pool of ice water!
