I think it was easier when he was afraid of the vacuum. Now we get tantrums when I turn the thing off.

Sam loves just about any noise-making appliance - the power drill, the vacuum, the dishwasher. The only thing that frightens him now (or did the last time I used it) is the food processor. Eek!

LOL! I have the same problem with my cat! :) He used to think the vacuum was evil, now he thinks it's playtime and gets upset when I turn it off.

How about the dish disposal? My 2-year-old son STILL runs and hides when that gadget is turned on.
