We bought a whole bunch of papers for the family, and we're ordering an 8x10 print of the picture from the paper itself. Exciting! How often does something like this happen?

Yeah, Steph, there was some craziness when Dillard's took over Lion. It seems to have died down now, though. Dillard's is pretty pricy; we never shop there. On the other hand, it seems to fit in well with the new mall owner's goal of continuing the mall's image as "upscale."

Ok.. Dillards took over Lion Store- I guess Lion store was good cuz it was on the "cheaper" end.. and Dillards isn't. I'm not crzy about Dillards, personally. THeir hiring practices bug me, for one thing.. Wondering if they'll drive business away from the mall?

Funny you went to the opening. David's been talking with his mom about that shopping center for months.. apparently there's a lot of controversy about the owners of the major department store there (the name escapes me at the moment), and how much money (or lack thereof) will be coming in now.
