08/16/2002 Entry: "Ladies' man"
My child is his father's son in so very many ways. Lately, though, he's becoming even more his father's son, getting away with some pretty interesting tactics that leave Eric laughing hysterically and me blushing crimson. He's becoming a "ladies' man."
To wit:
- This weekend we went to the mall, where Sam approached two different buxom women he didn't know, lifted his arms to be picked up, and then, well, "felt them up" while they cooed over him.
- We went into a candy store recently, and he walked over to the counter and flirted with the shop owner until she gave him free chocolate.
- Yesterday at the pool, he was busy playing with a little girl in the shallow water, toddling back and forth around her. Suddenly he tripped, and in falling, he caught himself - on the front neckline of her bathing suit. She was, naturally, quite alarmed. He just grinned.
- Today at the department store, he walked up to a little girl in a stroller, started up a "conversation," and then tried to push her and her stroller away with him.
This is in addition to the many, many young women he charms on a daily basis, the lingerie commercials that stop him dead in his tracks, the "Hey, baby" looks he gives to every woman in every public place we enter...
Oh, my.

My nephew is exactly the same! He fell in love with the women on the Pantene shampoo commercial and he is also a babe magnet. He has so many women stopping to play with him and he just thinks he's tops.
Sam sounds so wonderfully cute and extremely friendly, but I'm sure the wandering eye will settle at some stage... there's only hope!
