Yeah. Remember when I said that I almost wished I would catch Sam's cold just so my breastmilk would have antibodies for him? Somebody kick me next time I say something like that. Seriously.

Jennifer, you're a fount of information! :-) I did not know that, but I'm glad I do now. Next time, I'll feel no compunction at all about doing everything I can to prevent Sam from infecting me.

Awww, sorry you're sick. And you know, this selfless gesture wasn't even necessary -- your nipple contains special receptors that make antibodies to germs in Sam's saliva every time he nurses, so he was getting antibodies even if you weren't exposed to his bug. (I know, I know, you didn't get sick on purpose, but isn't that a neat thing your body does?!?)

ev and i have a cold too, although he doesn't seem all that phased by it so far. i am starting to feel it, hopefully you guys will start to get better quickly.
