• Knitting is fun.

• Nursing a toddler, when he's your toddler, feels perfectly natural.

• Even the strongest of us need help sometimes.

• We all need a good tribe.

• Seeing her own child be bullied is enough to make even the most peace-lovin' mama see red.

• Chill, and look at the big picture, especially for the sake of your son.

• Motherhood just keeps on getting harder, not easier.

• Keeping busy breeds satisfaction.

• I have a long way to go before I can be half the woman my mom is.

• Firsts can be scary, even when they're something as peaceful as snow.
