On the seventh day of Christmas, my true love gave to me...
SIX ANTICIPATIONS:
I want to sing seriously again. Lately I've been really, really missing my time singing in choirs in grad school; I miss the challenge of reading difficult new pieces, and I miss the thrill of hearing myself perform well. Inthe new year, I'm going to start by seeing if any of the local chamber choirs are taking new members in the alto section.
I'm finally going to finish knitting a sweater. I got lots of great wool for a sweater for myself for my birthday, and I haven't even started on it yet. Soon, I promise!
I want to lose another fifty pounds. 'Nuff said about that.
My goal is to have at least ten articles published in various magazines. I think this is eminently achievable.
We have a budget; in the new year, I want to stick to it for a change. I mean it this time!
Eric and I have decided to hold firm and give ten percent to the church. It's commanded, it's right, and we really have no excuse not to do it. We'll write it into the budget and make it work.
